Texas is known for its
bigger than life figures and its colorful past. It is one of
the biggest state in the U.S. with Austin as its Capital. We
are here last April 2001 and we are fortunate enough to tour around
the state and discover its wonderful nature. Spring is the time when
Central Texas blossoms into full bloom. Wildflowers paint
vibrant colors in fields and along roadsides.

Zilker Park offers something
for kids of all ages. Austin's largest park, Zilker offers a host
of wonders including plenty of picnic areas, hike-and-bike trails
and a children's playground. The lakeside park offers canoe
rentals and much of opportunities for feeding ducks.
|
|
Zilker Park is also home to Barton
Springs pool, spring-fed watering hole that stays 68-degrees
all year. For a scenic view the kids will love, take a ride
on the park's train.
